Although organic turkeys are particularly difficult to come by this year, Erewhon Market has secured one of the best―Mary’s Certified Organic Free-Range Turkey. Since 1954, Mary’s has been a family-owned and operated farm concerned with the importance of animal husbandry and the responsibility to protect the welfare of animals.

Mary’s Certified Organic Free-Range Turkeys are raised on healthful grains and are allowed to roam in areas four times the size than the areas provided by the average commercial turkey ranch. Their high-protein diet provides an optimal amount of nutrients. As a result, they grow into bigger and more flavorful turkeys than those typically found in an ordinary supermarket.

Please allow for at least 5 hours before serving.
1. Preheat your oven to 350°.
2. Place Turkey with aluminum foil and roasting pan in oven and cook for 3 hours. After 2.5 hours, check temperature at thickest part of bird every 20-30 minutes until Turkey reaches 165 F.
3. Remove Turkey from the oven and let sit for 20-30 minutes before serving.
***For a golden brown color, brush the turkey with melted butter before placing in the oven. Then brush it every 30 minutes while baking it.

Recommended that turkey is cooked until thickest part of the bird reaches approximately 165 F.
